Bitcoin Fights for $60K as Crypto Market Sees Mixed Gains
The cryptocurrency market has seen a mix of gains and losses over the past few days. Bitcoin's price volatility has continued, but it has managed to climb above $60,000 as of Saturday morning.
Despite its struggles, Bitcoin had rebounded from its weekend slump to $62,500 on Monday, tapping $65,500. However, this recovery was short-lived, and the asset fell to $59,000 for the second time this month before recovering some ground.
Solana's SOL has seen significant gains, rising above $72. Aave's token has also surged by double digits, sitting above $95. Other larger-cap alts such as XRP and ETH have made minor gains, with XRP trading above $1.05 and ETH standing close to $1,600.
The total crypto market cap has recovered over $80 billion since Thursday's low and is now up to $2.170 trillion.
