A recent investigation by blockchain sleuth ZachXBT has shed light on potential wrongdoing at Axiom Exchange, a New York-based trading platform.
According to ZachXBT, Broox Bauer, a senior business development employee at Axiom, allegedly misused internal tools to access sensitive user information, including linked wallet addresses. The data was then shared with a small group that mapped trades of prominent crypto influencers.
ZachXBT claimed that Bauer used internal dashboards to track private wallets and potentially trade memecoins using inside information. In audio clips shared online, a person believed to be Bauer allegedly discussed tracking Axiom users by referral code, wallet address, or unique ID.
