The model presented in the report suggests three possible scenarios: an optimistic prediction of Q-Day occurring in 2030, a pessimistic scenario of 2042, and a baseline estimate of 2033. This would imply that blockchain protocols relying on elliptic curve signatures could be vulnerable to quantum attacks within the next decade.
