Wife Accused of Stealing £180m Bitcoin from Husband

A husband is taking his wife to court for allegedly stealing millions of pounds' worth of bitcoin from their home.

The businessman, who is suing his wife and her sister, claims that she secretly installed CCTV cameras to capture his passwords and then transferred the cryptocurrency to 71 other blockchain accounts.

According to the court case, the husband first discovered his wife's alleged scheme when their eldest daughter expressed concerns about it in July last year. He reportedly recorded audio evidence of his wife discussing the transfer of the bitcoin and the risks of being caught for money laundering offences.
