Grantham Predicts Slow Decline of Bitcoin Over Decades

Billionaire investor Jeremy Grantham once again expressed his skepticism towards Bitcoin's long-term prospects, calling it a 'useless, speculative' asset.

In an interview with CNBC, Grantham stated that he expects Bitcoin to fade over decades instead of becoming stable money, saying it will 'dwindle away' quietly rather than disappearing suddenly.

Grantham argued that Bitcoin has not shown enough practical use as a payment system and that its value is largely driven by speculation, allowing crooks to move money around.

He also pointed out that the cryptocurrency's volatility has led to deep bear-market crashes in earlier cycles, with BTC falling at least 70% from peak levels.
