Ripple Partners with Water.org to Deliver Safe Water to 200 Million

Ripple has joined forces with non-profit organization Water.org to tackle the global issue of access to safe water and sanitation. The initiative, led by Water.org's Get Blue campaign, aims to provide 200 million people with safe water and sanitation by 2030.

The partnership marks a significant milestone in the use of blockchain technology for social impact initiatives. Ripple will provide financial support and payment infrastructure to help facilitate cross-border charitable payments through its blockchain network and RLUSD stablecoin.

RLUSD, a dollar-backed stablecoin, will enable faster and more cost-effective transfers between partners, reducing administrative costs and increasing funding efficiency. This collaboration demonstrates the growing adoption of stablecoins for real-world use cases beyond trading and financial markets.
