Jupiter Exchange's Gacha Trading Card Launch Generates $3.3M in 22 Hours
Jupiter Exchange, Solana's dominant decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator, has entered uncharted territory by integrating gacha-style pack openings for tokenized trading cards. The move generated $3.3 million in spending within the first 22 hours.
This new feature, provided by Collector Crypt, offers users a chance to purchase randomized packs of digital trading cards, purchased with USDC on Jupiter Exchange. The platform's integration captured over 34% of Collector Crypt's total market volume during the launch phase.
The surge in spending was led by gold and god packs, accounting for 27.6% and 25.8% of early spend respectively. Grail packs represented 9.9%. By the 17-hour mark, over 26,300 cards had been opened by more than 1,400 individual users.
This move highlights the growing appetite for real-world asset tokenization on blockchain infrastructure. Collector Crypt's existing momentum is evident, having logged 215,000 pack openings and $2.93 million in fees in the week prior to Jupiter's launch.
