Coinbase Business Surpasses 5,000 Companies as Crypto Payment Platform Expands

Coinbase Business has become one of the leading crypto payment platforms for companies, processing over $1 billion across more than 5,000 businesses.

The platform allows eligible companies in the US and Singapore to connect a bank account, fund their Coinbase balance, trade over 200 crypto assets, and move funds between digital assets and USD.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said the product is growing through word of mouth without paid marketing, citing demand for payments, trading, treasury management, and bill-payment services.
