Ripple Embeds Digital Assets in Treasury Management Platform
Ripple has expanded the capabilities of its treasury management platform by incorporating digital asset functionality. The updated system enables corporate finance teams to hold, track, and manage cryptocurrencies and fiat balances within a single system.
The new update introduces Digital Asset Accounts and a unified dashboard that aggregates balances across bank accounts, custody providers, and on-chain wallets. This provides real-time visibility into both cash and digital assets, reducing the need for manual reconciliation and fragmented reporting.
According to Mark Johnson, Chief Product Officer at Ripple, this shift aims to make digital assets 'a core part of treasury operations.' He notes that companies can now manage digital assets alongside traditional balances, enabling use cases such as stablecoin settlement and yield on idle cash.
