Blockchain Tested for Faster Cross-Border Remittances

Toss Bank and the Solana Foundation have launched a proof-of-concept program to explore using blockchain technology for international remittances.

The initiative aims to assess whether blockchain can make cross-border payments faster and more efficient compared to traditional systems.

The pilot will test Solana's blockchain network to evaluate transaction speed, cost-effectiveness, and technical performance without launching a commercial product yet.
