Ledger Unveils Toolkit for Secure AI-Powered Crypto Wallet Management

Hardware wallet maker Ledger has unveiled its open-source toolkit called Ledger Agent Stack. This technology allows AI agents to interact with crypto wallets without holding the user's private keys.

The toolkit enables AI agents to read wallet balances, analyze portfolios, prepare transactions, and propose payments. However, every sensitive action must be approved on a Ledger hardware device before it can be executed.

Ledger aims to bring its hardware security model to the growing world of AI agents with this launch. The company believes that human oversight will become a critical security layer as AI agents take on increasingly complex financial tasks.
