Ripple Institutional Partnerships Surge Amid XRP Token Decline
Ripple, a leading provider of blockchain technology solutions, has witnessed a substantial rise in institutional partnerships over the past year. Notable deals include collaborations with Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan, and Mastercard. However, despite this growth, the price of the XRP token has plummeted by more than 40% from its peak.
The decline in XRP usage can be attributed to institutions opting for alternative methods to settle transactions. Ripple's stablecoin, RLUSD, and custody services have become increasingly popular as a means to bypass the need for direct XRP use. This trend has limited demand for the token itself.
