EU Set to Revise Crypto Rules Amid Trump's Push for Digital Assets
The European Union is set to revise its cryptocurrency rules in 2027 as part of an effort to address the issue of multiple crypto-asset issuances from non-EU jurisdictions.
EU diplomats familiar with the discussions told Euronews that the European Commission is consulting stakeholders until September 30th, assessing whether to reopen legislation.
Lawmakers are convinced that a review is inevitable, but it's unclear what changes will be made.
