Crypto pundit Levi Rietveld analyzed the XRP rich list to understand what it takes for an investor to retire on the token. The data shows that most wallets hold less than $500 in tokens, which changes how one should think about their XRP holdings.

Rietveld's analysis revealed a clear pattern: 6.5 million XRP wallets have under 500 XRP, and the numbers drop off quickly at higher tiers. There is another steep drop-off when reaching 5,000 to 10,000 XRP.

Rietveld argued that crossing 500 XRP puts a holder in a strong position, as it separates them from the majority of the market. He framed this as the first meaningful milestone for anyone holding the token.
