Crypto Prices Slide Amid Peace Deal, Fed Decision
The price of Bitcoin and Ethereum has slid despite a signed peace deal between the US and Iran.
On June 18, 2026, Bitcoin opened at $64,450.44, down 1.8% from Wednesday's opening price, and fell to $63,980.59 by 7:33 a.m. ET.
Ethereum also declined, opening at $1,748.91, down 2.3% from yesterday's opening price, and moving to $1,744.25 by 7:33 a.m. ET.
The fall in cryptocurrency prices follows the Federal Reserve's decision not to raise borrowing costs, which had been expected by some investors.
