Cardano Price Turns Critical at $0.17 Amid Downtrend
Cardano's (ADA) price has been one of the weakest-performing large-cap cryptocurrencies in 2026, plummeting nearly 68% since the year began. The token is currently trading near $0.168, with a crucial long-term support zone between $0.160 and $0.170. However, derivatives data suggest that ADA could be approaching a critical turning point.
According to liquidation data, Cardano's price is at a crossroads, with a dense concentration of leveraged positions on both sides of the current price. This suggests that the market is heavily positioned for a directional move rather than continued consolidation.
The largest upside liquidity cluster is positioned around $0.170-$0.171, and a move into this region could force short sellers to close their positions, triggering a wave of buy orders that may accelerate the rally toward the next resistance around $0.175-$0.180.
