Iran Denies Rejecting Peace Talks Amid Escalating US-Iran Tensions
The ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran has taken another turn as Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi denied reports that his country had rejected peace talks with US officials. In a statement on social media, Araghchi clarified that Iran had never refused to participate in negotiations in Pakistan, but rather emphasized the need for a conclusive end to the ongoing war.
This development comes amidst escalating tensions between the two nations, with US President Donald Trump warning that time is running out for Iran to make a deal. In a recent post on social media, Trump stated that if no agreement is reached by April 6, 'all hell will reign down' on Iran. This ultimatum has raised concerns about potential consequences for the global economy, particularly in terms of oil prices.
The cryptocurrency market has also been affected by the ongoing conflict, with Bitcoin trading sideways amid uncertainty over the outcome. Despite Trump's warnings, crypto traders remain uncertain about the likelihood of a ceasefire between the two nations, with only a 35% chance of a deal being reached by May 31 and a 47% chance by June 30.
