Uzbekistan Regulator Revokes License of Crypto Exchange KOBEA GROUP

The National Agency for Advanced Projects of Uzbekistan has taken steps to address potential issues with the licensed cryptocurrency exchange KOBEA GROUP LLC, operating under the name UzNEX. In a move that has been announced publicly, the agency has revoked the license issued to the company on 22 February 2024.

The decision was made based on Order No. 45 dated 25 May 2026, and follows an internal review by the agency. As part of its efforts to resolve outstanding issues, the company has established a dedicated email address for clients seeking refunds: refund@kobea-group.uz.

Clients may also contact KOBEA GROUP LLC at its registered office between 09:00 and 18:00 or by phone at +998 78 777-55-06. The agency has emphasized that if the company fails to initiate refund processes, clients may reach out directly via email to case_kobea@napp.uz.

The agency noted that the revocation of the license will not impact the processing of refunds, which are expected to be completed within three to ten working days. Clients can monitor their account status and contact the company for updates on the refund process.
