HYPE and XRP: Two Cryptos with Different Growth Trajectories
XRP and HYPE are two cryptocurrencies that have been gaining attention in recent times. While XRP has been around since 2012, working with big banks and having a proven track record, HYPE is a newcomer that has climbed rapidly to become one of the top 10 cryptos. Despite its fast rise, HYPE's engine runs on trading volume, which can be volatile.
HYPE's growth relies heavily on Hyperliquid's perpetual trading platform, which generates revenue and buys back HYPE coins daily. However, this cycle weakens when trading slows down, leaving the coin vulnerable in a downturn. In contrast, XRP has survived brutal bear markets and has deep liquidity due to its widespread adoption.
While HYPE ETFs have been growing, with no losing week since their launch in mid-May, XRP ETFs have turned negative this month for the first time since March. The funds' assets have dropped below $1 billion, while HYPE ETFs continue to take in money. The question remains: which coin has more room left to grow?
