US Regulatory Clarity to Spark Global Bitcoin Legalization, Predicts Coinbase CEO

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has expressed his confidence that the United States will soon establish clear regulatory guidelines for cryptocurrency markets. According to him, this development will have a ripple effect, prompting other major economies to follow suit and legalize Bitcoin.

Armstrong believes that the Clarity Act being discussed in Congress will provide a framework for the US government to regulate cryptocurrency markets. The bill includes provisions related to stablecoin rewards and protections for software developers.

The Coinbase CEO also shared his long-term bullish outlook on Bitcoin, predicting its price could reach $1 million by 2030 due to its fixed supply and rising demand. He emphasized that regulatory clarity will accelerate the demand curve for Bitcoin by removing legal uncertainty that prevents institutional capital and sovereign wealth funds from investing in the asset.
