Federal Judge Approves $71M ETH Transfer Amid North Korea Hack
A federal judge has approved Arbitrum DAO's plan to transfer $71 million in frozen Ether (ETH) to Aave, resolving a key issue related to a North Korea-linked hack. The decision is seen as a significant step towards restoring financial stability in the DeFi ecosystem.
The funds were previously frozen due to allegations of terrorism-related activities. However, Arbitrum DAO has maintained that the assets do not belong to North Korean entities and should be released for distribution to Aave.
