TON Blockchain Prepares for Significant Fee Reduction and Near-Zero Costs

Telegram's founder Pavel Durov has made significant announcements regarding the TON blockchain, aiming to make transactions more affordable for users.

The first major change is a reduction in transaction fees by sixfold. This means that the cost of transactions on the network will decrease from $1.32 to approximately $0.0005 per transaction, making it much cheaper for users to conduct financial operations on TON.

Moreover, Durov has stated that most transactions on the network are expected to become fully feeless shortly after the new fees come into effect. This will eliminate commission costs for users altogether, allowing them to make transactions with zero expenses.
