The US Senate's efforts to regulate the cryptocurrency market are gaining momentum with the Clarity Act. The bill, which has been at the center of intense debate, is moving forward after Senator Thom Tillis announced that it will be taken up by the committee for further review.
Thom Tillis, a Republican senator, stated that significant progress has been made in addressing concerns from the banking sector regarding stablecoin yields. He emphasized that the Senate is open to working with stakeholders who wish to contribute to the process.
