Bithumb Suspends ZIL Deposits and Withdrawals for Network Upgrade
South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb is temporarily halting Zilliqa (ZIL) deposits and withdrawals to support an upcoming network upgrade. The suspension begins at 6:00 a.m. UTC on June 16, according to an official notice from the exchange.
The halt is standard procedure to ensure the stability of the Zilliqa blockchain during its maintenance window. Users will not be able to deposit or withdraw ZIL tokens until further notice.
While the suspension affects deposits and withdrawals, spot trading on Bithumb may continue as usual. However, liquidity could be affected if users are unable to add or remove funds from their wallets.
