Cryptocurrency Market Sees Widespread Liquidation Totaling Over $185 Million

In a notable trend observed in the cryptocurrency market, CoinGlass data indicates that a substantial amount of liquidations took place within the past 24 hours. Specifically, the total liquidated amount reached $185 million.

Breaking down the numbers, it's evident that long positions were hit harder with $104 million being liquidated compared to short positions at $81.51 million. In terms of specific cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) saw significant losses, with $14.4255 million and $10.093 million being liquidated respectively.

The data also reveals that a total of 99,824 individuals were affected by the liquidations, highlighting the widespread impact on market participants. The largest single liquidation occurred on an exchange's BTC-USDT trading pair, with a value of $4.7486 million.
