Traditional Altcoin Seasons May Be a Thing of the Past

As the crypto market continues to evolve, one thing is becoming increasingly clear: the traditional altcoin season may be a thing of the past.

Matt Hougan, chief investment officer at Bitwise, believes that the euphoric days of altcoin seasons where almost every cryptocurrency rises across the market are probably not coming back.

'I think that game is over,' Hougan said in an interview. 'I think we'll see a non-traditional altcoin season.'

Hougan predicts that future altcoin seasons will be more differentiated and reward assets with real-world traction and application, rather than simply following the hype.
