Kraken and Franklin Templeton Join Forces for Tokenized Investment Products

Kraken, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has partnered with Franklin Templeton, a prominent asset manager in the US, to bring tokenized investment products onto the blockchain.

The collaboration aims to integrate Franklin Templeton's BENJI money market fund into Kraken's digital asset infrastructure, enabling institutional clients to use tokenized funds as collateral and access yield-focused products.

This partnership marks a significant step towards mainstream adoption of blockchain technology in finance, particularly among institutional investors. By leveraging the xStocks framework, which facilitates tokenized equity trading, the two firms aim to tap into the growing demand for on-chain financial products.
