Franklin Templeton, a global asset management firm, has made significant strides in the cryptocurrency market with the launch of Franklin Crypto. This new institutional-grade crypto investment management platform is designed to provide sophisticated investment strategies and products for institutional investors seeking exposure to blockchain technology.

The firm's decision to enter the cryptocurrency space comes at a time when institutional participation is on the rise. To cater to this growing demand, Franklin Templeton has appointed industry veterans Chris Perkins and Seth Ginns, alongside Tony Pecore, to co-lead the new unit.
