Bitdeer Unveils Sealminer A4 Series with Industry-Leading Power Efficiency

Bitdeer Technologies Group has announced the launch of its Sealminer A4 series, a new line of bitcoin mining rigs designed to deliver improved power efficiency for miners. The flagship model, Sealminer A4 Ultra Hydro, boasts an industry-leading 9.45 joules per terahash (J/TH), making it a strong competitor to established hardware makers like Bitmain and MicroBT.

The new series is powered by Bitdeer's SEAL04 chips, which are built on advanced process nodes. The A4 lineup consists of three models: the Ultra Hydro, Pro Hydro, and Pro Air. Each model targets different deployment conditions, with the Ultra Hydro being the most efficient, delivering 886 terahash per second (TH/s) at 8,372.7 watts.

Bitdeer's vertical integration strategy allows it to control costs and specifications across the full supply chain, giving the company more control over hardware output and timing. However, this model also concentrates R&D risk internally. The launch of the A4 series marks a significant step towards Bitdeer's goal of achieving approximately 5 J/TH at the chip level in future generations.
