SOFTSWISS has rolled out two new features for its Sportsbook: Fiat Display and Lite Mode. The updates aim to make sports betting easier for crypto players and improve app performance in regions with unstable mobile internet.
Fiat Display allows cryptocurrency players to view their balances, bet amounts, and potential winnings in a fiat currency of their choice. This feature addresses a common friction point for crypto users: understanding bet value. By displaying cryptocurrency holdings in familiar fiat amounts, players can assess bet sizes and potential returns more intuitively, improving the clarity of their betting decisions.
The selected exchange rate appears in the site header and updates automatically every 10 minutes. Operators can configure the feature through the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook CMS and choose which fiat currencies are available to players.
Lite Mode is aimed at players with slow or unstable connections. When enabled, it loads core sportsbook features with simplified visuals and less background activity. Key screens open faster, and the betting experience stays functional in conditions where the standard version would stall.
