Canton Network has taken a significant step in supporting institutional tokenization by integrating Chainlink's SmartData services into its infrastructure offering.

The integration includes standardized data feeds, such as Net Asset Value (NAV) and Assets Under Management (AUM), which provide verifiable financial information for on-chain applications. This feature is designed to meet the needs of institutional investors who require structured and compliant data for tokenized asset platforms and financial products.

In addition to SmartData, Canton Network will utilize Chainlink Data Streams, which offer low-latency market data support for 24/5 equity data. This functionality is essential for tokenized securities and real-world asset (RWA) use cases built on blockchain infrastructure.
