Cryptocurrency May Offer Solution to US Housing Crisis
A recent conference at Mar-a-Lago, attended by President Trump, highlighted the potential use of cryptocurrency to address the country's housing needs. The event brought together a group of influential speakers, including Grant Cardone and Cathie Wood, who proposed a hybrid model that combines real estate with digital assets.
According to Cardone, this hybrid model would pair traditional real estate with a digital asset, such as Bitcoin, to create a more stable and efficient financial system. This, he claims, would allow for greater flexibility in financing housing projects and increase the availability of affordable housing options for middle-income buyers.
The model has been endorsed by Bill Pulte, who oversees Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Pulte believes that the combination of real estate and digital assets could provide a hedge against market fluctuations and reduce the risk associated with traditional financing methods.
