Argentina Court Freezes 25 Crypto Wallets in LIBRA Investigation
A federal judge in Argentina has issued an order to freeze 25 cryptocurrency wallets linked to the investigation of meme coin LIBRA. The court also demanded that six leading international exchanges, Binance, Bybit, OKX, CoinEx, FixedFloat, and Bitfinex, provide data on the owners of these wallets.
The ruling was a result of an investigation by Argentina's cyber police, which traced the movement of digital assets across various blockchains, including Solana and TRON, as well as centralized platforms. Approximately $100 million was withdrawn through these networks.
The court ordered the exchanges to provide KYC documents, IP addresses, logs of interactions, linked bank accounts, and full transaction history for the affected users.
