China Supreme Court Develops Judicial Interpretations for Virtual Currencies and AI
China's Supreme Court is taking steps to address the growing number of cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence-related litigation cases in the country. The court plans to develop judicial interpretations on civil compensation for insider trading and market manipulation, as well as study judicial protection rules for disputes related to AI-generated content and data rights.
The move aims to establish clearer internal judicial standards and improve consistency in resolving these complex cases. However, it's worth noting that China's total ban on cryptocurrency transactions remains in place, with no signs of reversal.
