Bitdeer's Sealminer A4 Series Sets New Power Efficiency Record in Bitcoin Mining

Bitdeer Technologies Group, a Singapore-based company, has made significant strides in the bitcoin mining industry with the launch of its Sealminer A4 series. The A4 series marks a notable improvement over previous generations, boasting an impressive power efficiency record of 9.45 joules per terahash.

The A4 series is powered by Bitdeer's SEAL04 chips, which have been built on advanced process nodes to deliver high performance and low energy consumption. This achievement has placed the company among the most efficient machines announced by major manufacturers in the industry.

Three models make up the A4 series: the A4 Ultra Hydro, A4 Pro Hydro, and A4 Pro Air. Each model is designed for different deployment conditions and targets various power efficiency thresholds. The A4 Ultra Hydro, the flagship unit, delivers 886 terahash per second (TH/s) at 8,372.7 watts with a rated efficiency of 9.45 J/TH.

Bitdeer's vertical integration strategy has enabled it to control costs and specifications across the full supply chain, allowing for more precise control over hardware output and timing. The company has been expanding its internal self-mining fleet through successive Sealminer deployments and expects the A4 rigs to support both external sales and internal operations.
