WBTC Sees Largest Net Outflow from Exchanges in Six Weeks
Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) has seen its largest net outflow from exchanges in over six weeks, according to Sanbase data. A total of 326 WBTC tokens left exchanges on July 14th.
This is a positive sign for the crypto market's rebound, as coins leaving exchanges are less immediately available for selling. WBTC is designed to move Bitcoin liquidity into Ethereum DeFi rather than sit idle on trading venues.
The timing of this event is interesting, given that Bitcoin has been experiencing a risk-heavy stretch due to geopolitical stress and ETF flow swings.
