AI Data Bottleneck Bypassed by Perceptron's Decentralized Approach

The AI industry is facing a critical problem: access to quality training data. Most of the open web has already been scraped, and what remains is locked behind expensive API agreements that only the largest players can afford. Perceptron AI Data Infrastructure is trying to bypass this arrangement by routing around it altogether.

Perceptron uses idle consumer bandwidth to collect data through a network of roughly 800,000 nodes across more than 150 countries. Collected data is verified by centralized AI models for quality before reaching enterprise clients.

The platform treats everyday internet users as the infrastructure itself, rather than competing on the same terms as Google or OpenAI. This approach allows Perceptron to undercut the pricing structures that currently favor only the largest AI companies.

The platform's incentive model rewards contributors with points convertible into native crypto tokens, creating a shared economic incentive. A $10 million AI Data Fund has also been launched for developers, offering up to five weeks of infrastructure support and 5 TB of real-world data free of charge.
