Stellar Surpasses $2B in Tokenized RWAs as Payment Volume Grows 72% YoY
Stellar's growth continues to accelerate in 2026, driven by its expanding ecosystem and innovative products. The network has seen significant increases in tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), payment volume, and developer participation.
The number of RWAs on Stellar has surpassed $2 billion, while payment volume has grown 72% year-over-year to reach $5.5 billion. Developer participation is also up by 86%, indicating active usage across the ecosystem.
Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) is now live on Stellar, allowing native USDC to move between the network and over 23 blockchains without wrapped tokens, removing traditional bridge risks. Figure has also launched an SEC-registered yield-bearing dollar asset (YLDS) on Stellar, providing a compliant on-chain savings product for fintechs and retail users.
Bermuda is migrating wages, government fees, and payments onto Stellar as part of its national deployment, making it one of the most ambitious real-world tests of blockchain infrastructure. This sovereign adoption adds a concrete use case to Stellar's institutional narrative and generates real transaction data across government and commercial settings.
