A fake token claiming to be the official asset of Very Network has been spotted on Solana-based decentralized exchange Bitget. The project team issued an urgent warning, stating that this token has no affiliation with Very Network and is being used to mislead users.
The Very Network team clarified that the official $VERY token exists solely on its native blockchain, VeryChain, and not on any centralized or decentralized exchange. They warned users to avoid purchasing or trading the fake asset and instead rely on official announcements and verified communication channels for information.
The project team also published a Korean version of the warning targeting its international community, urging users to remain cautious when seeking newly launched assets or potential airdrop opportunities.
