Render (RENDER) Plummets Amid Broader Crypto Weakness
Render (RENDER) fell by 4.56% in a three-hour window, but this drop is not due to any specific event related to the token itself.
The price move can be attributed to the broader market weakness, particularly Bitcoin's sharp decline, which led to large liquidations across the market and dragged altcoins like RENDER down with it.
BTC has recently dropped by about 5% to a new year-to-date low near $59,000, forcing roughly $237 million in long liquidations in just four hours and around $486 million in total long liquidations as the total crypto market cap fell to about $2.15 trillion.
A report notes that if BTC breaks lower, there is over $1.6 billion of additional leveraged long exposure at risk, keeping pressure on riskier altcoins while the market reprices leverage and risk appetite.
