Bitcoin Price May Reach New All-Time Highs as History Repeats
Bitcoin's recent price action has sparked interest among analysts and investors alike. A recent study by network economist Timothy Peterson has shed light on the cryptocurrency's historical behavior after significant drawdowns from its all-time highs.
Peterson's research suggests that Bitcoin has an 80% chance of hitting new all-time highs by 2027 if its price history repeats. The study examined a total of nine instances where the cryptocurrency's price recovered from a -50% drawdown to a -35% drawdown against its previous all-time high.
Notably, in eight out of these nine cases, Bitcoin went on to hit new all-time highs within a year. This trend has led some analysts to predict that the cryptocurrency could reach new record highs in the near future.
