Uncharted Shuts Down Fishing Frenzy Game Due to Business Model Failure

Uncharted has announced that it is ceasing operations and shutting down its game Fishing Frenzy, which failed to establish a sustainable business model.

The server shutdown for Fishing Frenzy is scheduled for June 25, 2026, at 2 a.m. UTC. Players will still be able to play the game until then, but purchasing USDC packages and trading the FISH token are no longer possible.

Uncharted's co-founder Derek Lau expressed regret over the situation, saying 'I'm sorry we couldn't deliver,' reflecting the challenges faced in affirming their crypto gaming concept.
