THORChain Integrates Solana with Native Asset Swaps

THORChain's integration with Solana (SOL) has opened new possibilities for users to transfer value across chains without relying on centralized exchanges or synthetic tokens. This shift towards native asset settlements reduces the risk of custodial bridge exploits, a major concern in cross-chain transactions.

The update enables users to swap between SOL and other supported assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and 11 other blockchains, using native settlements. This eliminates the need for wrapped or synthetic representations and third-party intermediaries that hold user funds.
