CZ: Crypto Adoption Below 1%, Leaving Room for Growth

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, emphasized that the cryptocurrency industry still has significant room for growth due to low adoption levels. According to him, crypto adoption is below 1% of total wealth.

CZ stated on a recent podcast that many people view cryptocurrencies as speculative investments and focus on when to exit the market. However, he believes that crypto and blockchain are fundamentally infrastructure technologies that should not be understood solely through short-term price movements.

CZ mentioned that blockchain is among the three major infrastructure technologies he has experienced, alongside the internet and artificial intelligence. He also noted that the line between traditional finance (TradFi) and crypto will gradually disappear as stock tokenization and adoption of blockchain by banks and financial institutions become more widespread.
