BlackRock's Bitcoin Trust Sees Massive Outflows Amid Institutional Selling
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust has seen substantial outflows in recent weeks, with investors withdrawing a total of $213.63 million on June 5 alone. This marked the end of a 13-day period where institutions pulled $4.4 billion from US spot Bitcoin ETFs, indicating a significant shift in investor behavior.
The sustained selling pressure from major ETFs could have a negative impact on Bitcoin's price, highlighting the growing influence of ETFs on the cryptocurrency market. Despite these outflows, BlackRock's ETF remains the largest by assets and continues to charge a competitive 0.25% fee.
