Global Digital Asset Investment Products Surge to Record Inflows
The digital asset investment products sector has seen a surge in popularity, attracting $857.9 million in a single week. This marks the largest influx of capital since late April, as investors' confidence grows due to the US Digital Asset Market Clarity Act's progress through Congress.
Bitcoin was at the forefront of this movement, drawing in $706.1 million, which brings its year-to-date total to $4.9 billion. Ethereum and other altcoins also experienced significant gains, with Ethereum attracting $77.1 million, Solana gaining $47.6 million, and XRP adding $39.6 million.
Meanwhile, short-Bitcoin products recorded their largest outflows of the year at $14.4 million, indicating that investors are unwinding bearish hedges as confidence builds. The CLARITY Act's progress is seen as a major driver for this trend, with many expecting its passage to remove regulatory obstacles and pave the way for further growth.
