Chinese professor Jiang Xueqin has made a bold claim about the origins of Bitcoin, suggesting that it may be a project created by the CIA or other US intelligence agencies. According to Jiang, the decentralized nature of the network relies on people believing it is beyond government control.

Jiang argues that the creation of blockchain technology would have required significant expertise and resources, making it likely that government agencies were involved. He also points out that early adopters of Bitcoin, such as the Winklevoss twins, had no obvious connection to cryptography or technology.
