This represents a 12.4% increase from the previous year's total of 659 million, driven primarily by increased institutional adoption and pro-crypto policies in the US.
Bitcoin ownership saw an 8.3% rise to 365 million, while Ethereum owners increased by 22.6% to 175 million.
