The cryptocurrency market is witnessing a short squeeze, resulting in substantial liquidations and price surges in several altcoins. Bitcoin (BTC) remains steady above $81,000, while Zcash (ZEC), Toncoin (TON), and Terra Classic (LUNC) have posted notable gains over the past 24 hours.

According to CoinGlass data, a total of $387 million in liquidations has occurred over the last 24 hours, with $314 million attributed to short liquidations. This indicates a significant shift towards buy-side dominance and a bearish side wipeout.
