Bybit CEO Outlines Vision for Invisible Financial System at Paris Blockchain Week
Bybit CEO Ben Zhou's recent speech at Paris Blockchain Week 2026 highlighted the need for a more intelligent, accessible, and invisible financial system. He emphasized that trust is the key to achieving this vision, which involves the convergence of artificial intelligence, programmable assets, and regulatory clarity.
Zhou pointed out that traditional financial institutions are integrating blockchain infrastructure without necessarily embracing the label 'crypto.' Stablecoins have emerged as a bridge, enabling faster payments, more efficient settlement, and global liquidity access. This development signals a turning point, where crypto is no longer an alternative system but part of the foundation.
The Bybit CEO also noted that regulatory clarity has become a catalyst for growth, with jurisdictions like the UAE setting the pace by welcoming innovation. As rules solidify, institutions follow, and as institutions enter, the system begins to mature. The ultimate goal is not to replace existing financial systems but to enhance them.
According to Zhou, the end state will be a world where users think about finance as seamlessly embedded into everyday life, without being aware of blockchain or wallets. This requires building infrastructure that makes financial services more accessible, efficient, and intuitive for users globally.
